About Us

Ampersand Theatrical Management is a boutique general management company founded by Tony Award-winning and West End producers.

We work with producers and production teams to support theatrical projects at every stage, from early development and workshops through to full productions, presentations, tours, and commercial engagements. While theatre is at the heart of our work, we also support select corporate and live event projects where careful planning, clear communication, and production management are essential.

With roots in both New York and London, Ampersand supports projects across the United States, the United Kingdom, and beyond.

As producers ourselves, we understand the pressures, priorities, and decisions that sit behind every project. We know that good general management is not just administration; it is structure, foresight, and steady support for the people making the work.

Ampersand was created to give producers a more joined-up way of managing their productions: commercially aware, creatively respectful, and focused on keeping the process clear from the earliest stages through to performance.

How We Work

We believe good general management is steady, clear, and proactive

Our role is to keep the production moving: tracking deadlines, managing contracts, supporting budgets, communicating with producers and vendors, and making sure the right information is in the right hands at the right time.

We work closely with producers to understand the priorities of each project, flag issues early, and create a clear administrative and financial structure around the production. The aim is simple: fewer surprises, better decisions, and a process that gives the creative work the support it needs.
